Over the past decade, advances in convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transformer based architectures, and self-supervised learning have significantly improved the performance, scalability, and adaptability of computer vision systems across diverse applications, including healthcare, autonomous vehicles, surveillance, agriculture, and industrial automation.
